Mommy hasn't updated in awhile!! I've really changed!!

Since my surgeries, I have quit taking the bottle. I received new braces that go up to my hips. Photos will be on my photo pages soon. The St. Louis Variety Club bought me a new stander, and Mommy is going to post pics soon too. I've been on the news!! And I'm going to be on TV on April 6, 2003 again for the St. Louis Variety Club Telethon. I'm really excited!! Mommy also talked to the Variety Club to get me a walker too!! I'm learning sign language and I also have gotten rid of my binkie (pacifier). Mommy is really excited about that!! As of now, I am 31 lb. and I am 3' tall. I am 19 months old and I'm driving my Mommy and Daddy nuts. Let's see. Since Mommy last updated, I've had 2 surgeries and I've come a long way!!

This is the day I had my orchiopexy. They had to do surgery to correct my right testicle.

This is the day I had major foot surgery on both feet. It is called a PMLR, which stands for Posterior, Medial, Lateral Release. I had to be in casts for 6 weeks!!

My Poker Run!!
Today, July 14, 2002, was my Benefit Poker Run!!
We had a pretty good turn out today!! There were about 26 hands and we raised about !! We started at Lou & Michelle's Sports Bar in Waterloo, IL, and traveled to Kountry Korners in Millstadt, Shamrock's in New Athens, Sporto's in Red Bud, Meathead's in Renault, and ended up at Fountain Inn in Fountain, Illinois!! It was alot of fun!! My Mommy and Daddy and I wanted to thank all of those that helped with the ride:

On June 28, 2002, I visited Shriner's Hospital. I went there to see Dr. Coplen, my urologist, and Dr. Gordon, my orthopedist. I got some good news and some bad news.
GOOD NEWS:
Dr. Coplen says that my urodynamics tests results show that I should not need a catheder in the near future!! I am soo excited!! Mommy was so excited that she almost cried!!
BAD NEWS:
Dr. Coplen also said that my right testicle never dropped!! That means that they will have to do surgery to make it drop. That will be in September sometime. Mommy has to schedule it. Since Shriners doesn't do these kinds of surgeries, I have to go to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Then, Dr. Gordon said that I need another foot surgery!! Apparently the first surgery didn't work and neither did the braces!! After all of that work too!! I am so sad!! They will have to do the surgery on both feet. That means that I will be in Shriner's Hospital for a couple days!! Along with being in casts for the next 6-8 weeks after that!!
